Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using LayerForge, the ForgeOn Labs website, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

ForgeOn Labs provides AI-powered workflow tools for Technology Business Management (TBM) and IT Financial Management (ITFM) practitioners. LayerForge delivers structured skill prompts and reference data through Anthropic's Model Context Protocol (MCP) and compatible AI platforms.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Access to LayerForge requires an active paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

4. Intellectual Property

All skill definitions, reference files, classification rules, decision logic, and structured prompts delivered through the Service are the intellectual property of ForgeOn Labs. Subscribers receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for their own internal business purposes during the term of their subscription.

The following are expressly prohibited:

• Extracting, copying, or redistributing skill content, prompts, or reference materials outside of the Service
• Caching, storing, or reproducing skill responses for use beyond the originating session
• Using skill content, outputs, or reference data to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning model
• Reselling, sublicensing, or repackaging any Service content

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service (GL exports, budget files, spend data). ForgeOn Labs does not store, access, or retain your uploaded data beyond the active session. AI processing occurs on the platform you connect to (e.g., Anthropic's Claude) — refer to that platform's data policies for processing and retention terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source material from the Service; (b) use the Service to compete with ForgeOn Labs; (c) share account credentials with unauthorized users; (d) circumvent subscription gating, authentication, or access controls.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ForgeOn Labs does not guarantee that classifications, allocations, or variance analyses produced by the Service are free from error. All outputs include confidence scores and should be reviewed by a qualified practitioner before use in financial reporting or decision-making.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeOn Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

ForgeOn Labs may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms or non-payment. Upon termination, your license to use Service content ends immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
